- Remove the sausage from the pot and set aside. Discard the water.
- In a separate pot, bring the white vinegar, cider vinegar, sugar, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, mustard seed, and celery seed to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the cooked sausage links. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let cool.
- Transfer the cooled sausage and pickling liquid to a storage container. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving.
